Dear Rice alumni leader,
The history of any great institution
is one of great leadership. As we approach Rice's
centennial, we celebrate the unique accomplishments
of our alma mater while preparing for the challenges
ahead. As a leader and volunteer with the university,
you play a key role in implementing Rice's Vision
for the Second Century.
We invite you to join us at the 2008 Conference
for Rice Alumni Leaders. Held every three years,
this conference brings together the best and
brightest of our alumni and friends to receive
an "insider's view" of Rice from campus
leadership. This year's conference focuses on
the new initiatives at Rice that are changing
the way we lead the nation and the world. We
also have recruited some of your fellow alumni
to share how their Rice experience shaped them
as leaders and what challenges they face in
their respective fields. We hope this opportunity
for personal leadership learning will complement
the updates you'll receive from campus communicators.
This will be your chance to mix and mingle with
vice presidents, deans, faculty, and institute
heads, and to hear from President Leebron.
Join us as we celebrate Rice's innovative spirit
and rediscover the commitment and connections
of everyone involved with leading Rice into
a bold future with "no upper limit."
