Sign up for an Online Services account

Visit our website to create a new account. You will be asked for your last name and the last five digits of your social security number.

Note: If you do not have a SSN or have trouble creating an account in our system, please contact arahelp@rice.edu. Include your full name and your college or department.

Once you're logged in, please take a moment to update your address information. Based on where you tell us you're living, we'll send you invitations to alumni events and programs in your area, as well as news and information from Rice. If you wish all or some of your profile to remain hidden from other alumni, you may choose your privacy settings when you update your data.

You may notice that address updates don't show up online immediately. It may seem like we're Luddites, but we're just being extra-careful with the accuracy and confidentiality of your information! (That, and the post office is very picky about address formatting.)

Some great features of an alumni account are:

	Alumni Email Forwarding: Reserve an address @alumni.rice.edu and have your mail forwarded to any destination. You can use this address on resumes, etc, to show off your Rice connection. Please forward to an account other than your Rice mailbox, since these will be deactivated after you graduate. Many companies such as Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft offer free email hosting.
	Alumni Directory: As an alum, you'll have private access to the contact information of Rice alumni. (With a few terms of use, of course…) As you and your friends spread out across the country and beyond, keep up with them here.
	Rice Career Network: Find alumni in your prospective job field to answer questions about career path, education, job location, work environment, etc. When you get settled in your own job, come back and volunteer as a contact!
	Rice Alumni Digital Library: Addicted to Fondren Library's online collections? Alumni have access to a selection of resources, including numerous trade journals, magazines, books, and more.

Class of 2009 Princeton Club of New York Affiliate Membership

The Association of Rice Alumni offers an affiliate membership with the Princeton Club of New York. If you plan to live in or travel to New York, or to other cities where PCNY has affiliate clubs, this membership may be for you. Join Rice Alumni on Facebook and LinkedIn

	Connect with fellow Owls through the official Association of Rice Alumni group and the official ARA Fan Page on Facebook. You can also network with fellow alumni on LinkedIn, a professional networking site that helps members access thousands of business contacts through first-, second- and third-degree connections.

Class of 2009 Social Networking Site

J.D. Leonard '09 has created an online community exclusive to Rice's Class of 2009, which is separate from the online alumni directory. Alumni can find out more information and join the site at www.Rice2009.com.

Free Rice Owls Football Season Tickets

Rice Athletics is offering free season tickets for Rice Owls Football this fall to the class of 2009. Tickets are located in the student section. To sign up, contact the Rice ticket office at 713-348-5086. Also, alumni from the classes of 2006-2008 can purchase up to two football season tickets at half-price.
