HANDBOOK: Types of regional group events
Below is a sampling of regional group events that have been successful in the past. This is not intended to be a comprehensive list, and not every type of event is feasible in all cities. Each regional group should tailor programming to meet the needs of its unique alumni population and to take advantage of local opportunities.
Events should always further the mission of the Association of Rice Alumni and its four key areas: Creating Community, Encouraging Excellence, Lifelong Learning, and Supporting Students. Programming should allow alumni, parents, and students to build relationships with one another and with the university.
