About Alumni Association

Rice University Business and Professional Women (RUBPW)

Rice University Business and Professional Women is a group of mostly Rice women graduates who meet about once a month for dinner in a great Houston restaurant and enjoy networking, visiting, and hearing an interesting speaker on a topic related to business, the Rice community, or to intelligent people in general.

We want to emphasize that you need not be an active career woman to participate. We have members who are not currently working outside the home or who may never have done so. What is important is that you enjoy Rice people and can attend evening meetings.

We meet monthly from September through May with a festive brunch during the holiday season and occasional ventures to museums or theater presentations. You need not be a member to come to a meeting.
