Nancy B. Rapoport ’82, special counsel to the president of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Garman Turner Gordon Professor of Law at the William S. Boyd School of Law, was recently named the 2017 Lawrence P. King Award recipient. Presented annually by the Commercial Law League of America’s Bankruptcy Section, the award recognizes individuals who exemplify the best in scholarship, advocacy, judicial administration or legislative activities in the field of bankruptcy.
