Online Lectures On Demand

Scientia sponsors and hosts an annual series of colloquia devoted to the exploration of broad topics from a variety of points of view. These colloquia are hosted on campus and open to the general public, including the Rice alumni community.  Many lectures are recorded and available for viewing online here

Rice Online

The ARA is pleased to partner with the Rice Online program to offer Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), lectures and other blended learning opportunities tailored exclusively for Rice alumni. Rice Center for Digital Learning and Scholarship

Rice University's Center for Digital Learning and Scholarship (RDLS) develops and researches innovative and disruptive technologies to improve educational outcomes for learners of all ages through the efforts of STEMscopes, OpenStax College, Connexions, its various allied projects, and its research and evaluation team. 


A project developed and housed at Rice, Connexions allows authors, educators, and learners to access a rich repository of open-licensed content modules to create free, customized textbooks, courses, and learning materials.
