The ARA is pleased to partner with the Rice Online program to offer Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), lectures and other blended learning opportunities tailored exclusively for Rice alumni. Rice University's Center for Digital Learning and Scholarship (RDLS) develops and researches innovative and disruptive technologies to improve educational outcomes for learners of all ages through the efforts of STEMscopes, OpenStax College, Connexions, its various allied projects, and its research and evaluation team.

A project developed and housed at Rice, Connexions allows authors, educators, and learners to access a rich repository of open-licensed content modules to create free, customized textbooks, courses, and learning materials.
