Lindsay Germano '01
Rice Alumni Dallas
The Volunteer
While at Rice, Lindsay involved herself in numerous campus activities, as well as swimming as an NCAA athlete during her freshman year. She was president of the Rice Program Council, coordinated Beer Bike campus-wide, staffed the annual Impact Rice leadership retreat, and was instrumental in the creation of the Rice Women's Resource Center, for which she received a service award.
Lindsay has continued her involvement with Rice as an alumna. While a student at SMU Law School, she served as a member of Rice Alumni Volunteers for Admission (RAVA) and as a volunteer for the recently formed Rice Alumni Dallas regional group. In 2004, she helped engage young alumni in the Dallas area through a regional kick-off party and the formation of monthly happy hours. She then served as president of Rice Alumni Dallas in 2005 and spearheaded efforts to increase programming for local alumni.
Ask anyone who attended Rice while Lindsay was here and they know who she is. A constant advocate of the university, its athletic programs, and regional alumni efforts, Lindsay has shown that even young alumni can have a significant impact on the Rice community.
