Astronaut Jeffrey Hoffman ’88 will be inducted into the Jewish-American Hall of Fame at a ceremony on May 17, 2017. Hoffman, who received an MSc in Materials Science from Rice, performed four spacewalks and made five space flights as a NASA astronaut.
