What part of serving on the ARA Board are you most excited about?

I was a Rice undergraduate for four years, but I’ll be a Rice alum for a lifetime. I’m excited to serve on the ARA board as a way to support university efforts and help ensure future generations of Rice Owls can enjoy the same meaningful and transformative experiences I did.

What is your favorite “Only at Rice” memory or story?

One of my favorite “Only at Rice” memories was watching the Rice Soccer Owls win a conference championship at Holloway Field during my senior year. It felt uniquely Rice: the result of a community that came together, from students to staff to fans, to make that Spring 2021 season possible despite the challenges of COVID-19.

If you could give one piece of advice to Rice students, what would it be?

Extend the same "Culture of Care" to yourself that you offer to others.
