What part of serving on the ARA Board are you most excited about?

I can't wait to put my love of Rice to work. I look forward to getting more Owls involved — particularly in my part of the country.

What is your favorite “Only at Rice” memory or story?

At the end of O-Week, I remember being soaked at 4 a.m. in one of the fountains on campus after an all-night scavenger hunt, screaming and hugging folks I had met only three days before. I knew right at that moment, I was home.

If you could give one piece of advice to Rice students, what would it be?

I would encourage folks to try clubs and activities outside of their area of study — and way outside of their comfort zone. It leveled up my entire college experience and gave me friends for life.
