Hilary Purrington ’13 is a New York City-based composer of contemporary classical music. Her recent projects includes work for the New York Youth Symphony and the Albany Symphony. Purrington is preparing for upcoming commissions: a guitar concerto for the American Composers Orchestra and a musical piece for the Philadelphia Orchestra. Outside of composing music, Purrington works as a full-time associate director of development at Barnard College.
