A Note from James Hurley, Assistant Vice President of Alumni Relations

James Hurley

Dear Rice Alumni,

I hope that this note finds you well. I am writing to you with a brief update regarding alumni relations at Rice and to announce the launch of an exciting new initiative.

I am thrilled to launch Alumni Office Hours, where each week I’m setting aside a set number of hours to connect with alumni to listen, learn and collect feedback about your alumni experience. The booking link is here. These appointments can be held via phone or video conference call. Of course, I always welcome alumni on campus, as well! I look forward to learning more about each of your Rice experiences and how we can strengthen alumni programming together.

As always, please visit our website for the most up-to-date information regarding upcoming programs and events, and be sure to select your communication preferences through the Rice Portal and associated regional and affinity-based alumni club resource tabs.

I hope to see you back on campus November 3-4 for Alumni Weekend, featuring homecoming and reunion programming.

Together we are having a lasting impact on our alumni community and on Rice.

In partnership,

James Hurley
Assistant Vice President, Alumni Relations
Executive Director of the Association of Rice Alumni
