What part of serving on the ARA Board are you most excited about?

I am most excited about the opportunity to foster a mentorship ecosystem between Rice alumni and current students. My vision is to leverage our Rice Alumni network and experiences to expand on programs that not only facilitate meaningful mentorship connections but also strengthen ties between Rice University and corporations both in Houston and beyond. Mentorship and collaboration are transformative and I've witnessed firsthand in my career and involvement with Rice. By building these bridges, we can open new avenues for growth, innovation, and opportunity for Rice students and alumni alike.

What is your favorite “Only at Rice” memory or story?

My favorite "Only at Rice" memory has to be my work on the Rice Centennial House project. This experience was unique to the Rice community, where I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team of students, architects, faculty, and staff. Together, we embarked on a journey to design and construct a sustainable and affordable home, rallying the entire Rice community around this cause. It was a testament to Rice's spirit of collaboration, innovation, and community service. This project not only celebrated Rice's centennial year but also left a lasting impact on the local community and on me personally.

If you could give one piece of advice to Rice students, what would it be?
