The Laureates Awards Program has been a defining part of Rice and its culture of celebrating excellence. The 85-year tradition has recognized outstanding individuals and their impact on their professions, local communities and the university.

The success of the Laureates Awards Program relies upon members from the Rice community like you who nominate alumni, friends and volunteers exemplifying the criteria of these awards Meritorious Service, Distinguished Alumni, Gold Medal.

Selected honorees are announced in early spring and are honored each year at the annual Laureates Dinner. Nominations must be received by September 30 to be considered for the ceremony in the following spring. If you have any questions regarding the nominations process, please contact alumni@rice.edu.

Nomination Guidelines

To submit a nomination, please complete the following form. Nominations must include at least three letters, including a nominating letter and two letters of support. Incomplete nominations cannot be considered.
