We are excited to welcome Rice alumni and friends to campus Nov. 1-2 for Alumni Weekend. Use these resources to help plan your visit.
General
- Do I need to register in advance?

Walk-up registration is available at Headquarters located in the Flex Studio of Moody Center for the Arts. We strongly encourage advance registration so our support teams can provide each attendee with an unforgettable experience. Prices increase for walk-up registrants.
If registering in advance, please be advised that the deadline for canceling registration and receiving a refund is October 27.
Please note that walk-up registration is a cashless process. Additionally, we are not able to accept payments using Apple Pay or Venmo. Credit and debit payments only.
- Where do I check in?

Upon your arrival, check in at Alumni Weekend Headquarters located in the Flex Studio of Moody Center for the Arts during the hours noted below. At this location, you will be able to pick up name badges, ask questions and/or make any registration modifications.
Friday
8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday
8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.Please note that we are not able to accept payments using Apple Pay or Venmo. Credit and debit payments only.
- Is parking available on campus?

Parking is free in West Lot 4 during Alumni Weekend. Additional parking is available in West Lot 3 and Greenbriar Lot. You will need to show the gate attendant your Alumni Weekend badge for entry on Saturday.
- What does the Alumni Weekend Tailgate and Family Fest price include?

Price includes BBQ plate and unlimited water, tea and lemonade. Attendees will receive two drink tickets, which can be redeemed for wine, beer or soda. Vegetarian options are also available. Activities include lawn games for all ages and inflatables for children.
- Will in-person events be canceled if it rains?

Rain or shine, all in-person events will continue. Please dress appropriately for the weather and event occasion.
- Can alumni visit the residential colleges?

Alumni are invited to reconnect with their residential colleges during the dedicated receptions on Friday, Nov. 1. We kindly ask that alumni refrain from visiting the colleges outside of these designated times.
- Will there be activities for children?

Children of all ages are welcome to attend Alumni Weekend! The Alumni Weekend Tailgate and Family Fest on Saturday, Nov. 2, will feature family-friendly games and activities.
- Where do I purchase tickets to the Rice football game?

Football tickets can be purchased via the Alumni Weekend + Rice vs. Navy Football Game ticket package or a la carte until Oct. 27. (Digital tickets can still be purchased through Rice Athletics up until the game day and at the box office.) Tickets will be sent to registrants via Rice Athletics the week of Alumni Weekend. Ticket purchasers will receive a notification at the email address they used during registration when their tickets are available in their account.
Visit riceowls.com/myaccount or download the Rice Owls Game Day App to access your Account Manager. If you have not previously logged on to your account, click on “Sign Up” and you will be prompted to set up an account to access your tickets. Please make sure to use the same email that was used to purchase your tickets. Once logged in, your tickets will appear under “Manage Tickets.”

- What classes are celebrating a reunion?

If your class year ends in 4 or 9, then you are celebrating a reunion. For more information, visit here.
- What is the recommended dress attire?

Business casual is recommended for most reunions. For the 50th reunion, cocktail attire is preferred.

- Transportation

Visitors to campus have access to Rice’s shuttle system that circles the university’s inner loop and connect Rice Stadium, the Annex Building (near RUPD, post office, etc.), Graduate Apartments on Bissonnet and Rice Village Apartments to the rest of campus. Please note that on Nov. 2, the shuttle will only be available for the inner loop from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Explore available shuttles and specific routes.
