Friday, November 1
8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Headquarters
Check in at Headquarters to receive your name badge, grab a cup of coffee, ask questions and/or make any registration modifications. Your name badge will allow for easy access to faculty lectures, the Town Hall, the Beer Garden and more. While at Headquarters, stop by the Woodson Research Center's story booth to record and share memories from your time at Rice!
Also, we’re thrilled to announce that, in conjunction with David Alexander’s faculty lecture, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE will be on-site with virtual reality headsets, allowing the Rice community to enjoy a fully immersive 3D tour of the International Space Station.

President’s Town Hall
Join the Rice community on campus for a President’s Town Hall with Rice University President Reginald DesRoches and Association of Rice Alumni (ARA) President David Mansouri ’07. Additionally, the 2024 Builders Award recipients will be recognized at this event.
The Rice community is invited to submit questions in advance of the event. Please use this form to share your questions for consideration.

Beer Garden
New! Head to Valhalla and enjoy this year's newly created Beer Garden with a DJ and live music. Reconnect with Owls, reminisce about old times and create new memories. (Ticket package purchasers get a free drink!)

The Shepherd School of Music will host an alumni tailgate party on the Piazza on Saturday, Nov. 2, 90 minutes before kickoff of the Rice vs. Navy football game.

Alumni Run
Moody Center for the Arts (Meet in front of the Moody entrance for the start of the run.)
New! Get your day started with a burst of energy by joining your fellow Owls for a refreshing run around campus. Association of Rice Alumni (ARA) President David Mansouri ’07 will lead the run. Plus, don’t miss the opportunity to run alongside President Reginald DesRoches!
Be sure to check in at Alumni Weekend Headquarters (conveniently located at Moody Center for the Arts) to pick up your name badge. Water and snacks will be available. Attendees with name badges will receive access to the changing rooms at the Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center.
Noon
Alumni Weekend Community Market
Support your fellow Owls by perusing products and learning about services offered exclusively by Rice alumni business owners at this Community Market. (Package purchasers will receive a choice of branded canvas tote or collapsible dog bowl at the Community Market.)
12:30 p.m.
Tailgate and Family Fest
Tailgate Owley, east side of Rice Stadium
Mingle with other Owls and enjoy pre-game festivities outside Rice Stadium.
Price includes BBQ plate and unlimited water, tea and lemonade. Attendees will receive two drink tickets, which can be redeemed for wine, beer or soda. Vegetarian options are also available. Activities include lawn games for all ages and inflatables for children.
3 p.m.
Rice Owls Football Game
Cheer on the Rice Owls as they take on the Navy Midshipmen!
Football tickets can be purchased via Alumni Weekend registration until Oct. 27. (Digital tickets can still be purchased through Rice Athletics up until the game day and at the box office.)
5-8 p.m.
Beer Garden
Continue the excitement after the football game by heading to Valhalla to catch up with fellow Owls, reminisce about the good old days and make new memories together.
Please note that the deadline for canceling registration and receiving a refund is October 27.
