Jeremy Goodreau ’11 is impacting the lives of hundreds of students through his role as principal and lead facilitator at Alameda Community Learning Center, a public charter school located in Alameda, California. Goodreau graduated from Rice with a bachelors in kinesiology and history and earned his master’s of education in administration and supervision from the University of Houston.

Goodreau landed his first post-undergraduate job at Chinquapin Preparatory School, a private boarding school for low-income based students near Houston. During his six years at Chinquapin, he served in many roles, with his most recent role being head of upper school, a position in which he worked to build a strong community that could learn together. He also created and implemented a teacher training program and the school's first curriculum map. Goodreau expanded his outreach to directly helping students succeed after graduation, by connecting students with mentors and assisting with internship programs.
