Introducing Rice's New University Advancement System

OwlConnect, Rice's new advancement system, will be powered by Blackbaud CRM and is expected to go live in early 2018. Over the next several months, we will embark on an implementation process to configure the system for Rice's needs. Among our goals are improving data integrity, supporting ongoing initiatives and campaigns, enhancing reporting, and re-engineering and improving business processes. Rice's ability to compete and thrive as a relatively small but highly impactful research university depends a great deal on how we engage all of our relationships. This new system will be a critical component in enabling us to engage such important constituencies more efficiently and effectively, and will also increase collaboration across campus.
