The Impact of your Sponsorship

The REA board has issued the #REA500in19 Challenge to encourage 500 alumni to donate to REA in 2019. By becoming an REA sponsor, you can:

  • Improve the undergraduate ChBE lab experience through a $50,000 pledge over three years to the department. Learn more about our ChBE initiative from Michael Wong, chair of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, at!
  • Elevate the George R. Brown School of Engineering brand by providing $5,000 in student travel grants to allow graduate students to promote their leading and advanced research and developments.
  • Enhance the George R. Brown School of Engineering experience by providing $15,000 in Project Awards that allow students to turn their classroom learnings into tangible solutions for real-world problems!

REA offers the following sponsorship levels. An REA sponsorship year coincides with the Rice fiscal year, July 1 to June 30.

Fellow: $2500
Benefactor: $1000
Patron: $500
Gray: $150
Blue: $50
Blue: $25 (Young alumni 10 years or less since graduating)
