Parking
On Friday, Oct. 29, free parking is available for Owl Together attendees in West Lot 3 and West Lot 4. On Saturday, Oct. 30, guests must present their Owl Together name badge to the parking attendant in order to receive free parking in West Lots 3 and 4. Please check in at Owl Together Headquarters first before parking in the West Lots. Locations and times are outlined below.
Friday
8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Grand Hall, Rice Memorial Center
6:00 to 9:30 p.m., Dean’s Commons, Anderson-Clarke Center
Saturday
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Grand Hall, Rice Memorial Center
Guests who need to pick up name badges on Saturday can park for up to 15 minutes in the circle drive of the RMC. Once you receive your name badge, you can park for free in the West Lots.
Accessible parking is available in nearly all parking locations. These marked spaces are within close distance to Rice shuttle stops for easy transportation, and all Rice shuttles are equipped to carry passengers in vehicles and provide this service through a ramp or a lift. Please refer to the campus map for accessible parking locations.
Transportation
Visitors to campus have access to Rice’s shuttle system that circles the university’s inner loop and connect Rice Stadium, the Annex Building, Graduate Apartments on Bissonnet and Rice Village Apartments to the rest of campus. Explore available shuttles and specific routes.
Weather
On-campus events at Owl Together are largely outdoors and in various locations across campus, so please consider how weather conditions and walking distances will affect your comfort and safety. Events will take place at their designated locations, rain or shine. We encourage guests to plan ahead and dress accordingly. View the upcoming forecast.
Accessibility Accommodations
Those that require special accommodations are asked to contact owltogether@rice.edu ahead of their arrival. Outdoor events, including the All-Reunion Lawn Party and the Owl Together Tailgate, will feature wheelchair-accessible tables and seating. Accessible parking is available in nearly all parking locations. Please see parking information above.
Rice Football Tickets
Your ticket to the Owl Together Tailgate and Family Picnic on Oct. 30 does not include attendance to the Rice football game. Information to purchase tickets is below.
Families have the opportunity to sit with their students in sections 115 and 116. General admission tickets are $20. Purchase here.
Alumni can purchase discounted general admission tickets for $25 here.
